Mr Nicholas Okoro (MD)

Nicholas Okoro was formerly Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), a Nigerian conglomerate with diverse interests in oil & gas, real estate & hospitality, agriculture and telecommunications. An investment banker and stockbroker, he has been actively engaged over 30 years ni investment banking, consulting, investment management, corporate restructuring and turn-around management. He had undertaken the listing of several companies on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, in addition, to executing several mandates involving equity and debt issues (Private Placements, Public Subscriptions, Offers for Sale, etc.) Debt Conversion, Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Buyouts, Rights Issues, Receivership, Corporate Restructuring and Turnaround. He was key member of the Centre-Point team that kick started the privatization program of the Federal Government with the sale of Federal Government interest in Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in 1989. Since 1986, Nick has been engaged in several consulting and turnaround assignments involving operating companies in the agricultural, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing and telecommunication sectors and had in the past undertaken the successful turnaround of several distressed companies. Nick has been a Financial Adviser to the Boards of several quoted companies in the food & beverages, cement, cable manufacturing, glass making, engineering sectors. He is a co-author of several books including Going Public: A Guide to Companies and Market Operators; Investing in the Nigerian Stock Market and The Second-Tier Securities Market of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.  Nick holds a B.Sc. degree of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (1981) where he won the Best Graduate in Business Education award and an MBA degree of the University of Lagos (1984). He is also an Alumnus of Manchester Business School.

Dr. Philip Idaewor (CEO)

.Dr Philip Idaewor is a medical practitioner and a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, particularly within the All Progressives Congress (APC) party. He was born in October 1961 and is British, residing in the United Kingdom. Idaewor holds a Master of Science degree in Immunology and Immunocytochemistry from the University of Benin.

In his professional capacity, he serves as the CEO of the Peoples Health Foundation (PHF), a charity organization registered in Nigeria. The foundation aims to promote social inclusion through health missions and community-based healthcare provision.

Idaewor is also the Chairman of APC UK and has been involved in political discussions and analyses, including participating in a panel discussion on Buhari’s new administration in 2019. He has declared his intention to run for Nigeria’s presidency in 2023, aiming to bring fresh ideas from the diaspora to address Nigerian challenges.

Additionally, he is the Chairman of the APC Diaspora Chairmen and has been involved in the HOPE2023 campaign organization, which supported Bola Tinubu’s emergence as the APC’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election.

Prof Emmanuel Ogezi (Member)

He is a registered Geoscientist since January 2003 and member of COMEG (Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists). He is also Fellow to several professional bodies including; Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (FNMGS); Geological Society of London; Royal Institute of Chemistry (MRIC); American Institution of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers; and the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy, London. He was educated at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and later Leeds in the UK (1972-1977) for M.Sc.and PhD respectively on a government scholarship. Thereafter held several appointments and consultancy with Federal and State Governments; several national and international private mining companies to assess, explore for, evaluate/assess mineral resources in Nigeria. He also coordinated and prepared the Environmental Guidelines for Solid Minerals Mining Activities in Nigeria and the Environmental Guidelines for Solid Minerals Mining for the defunct Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA) in 1999 and consulted extensively for the Federal Ministries of Environment and Solid Minerals, Mines and Steel Development and their parastatals/agencies as well as the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. He retired, voluntarily, as Professor of Applied Geology, the University of Jos in 2016 to devote more time in the exploration, evaluation and sustainable development of natural/environmental resources, a Non-Governmental initiative (African Centre for Sustainable Environment and Resources Development (ACSERD) based in Jos and Abuja. Areas of professional competence/interest include: • Mineral exploration, evaluation, development and exploitation of mineral resources. • Environmental geology, safety and health • Environmental and social impacts of mining, processing and their remediation. • Sustainable small-scale minerals, water, energy, and environmental projects. • Environmentally and socially sustainable geo-/eco-tourism and gemstone resources development; and geologically related environmental hazards /disasters and mitigation. • Analysis and summary of internal and external senior stakeholders’ perceptions of the changing UK national landscape, with recommendations for future strategy, identified actions and proposed timescale for implementation. • Investigation and analysis of internal stakeholders’ projects, identifying inspiring stories, recurring themes, and cross-cutting opportunities and challenges, supporting future strategy development and organisational improvements. • Execution and evaluation of environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) studies for major development projects.

Mr. Muhammed Santuraki (Member)

.Muhammed is a Chartered Engineering professional with substantial progressive experience in the Energy, Oil and Gas industry with focus on Operations, Reliability & Maintenance of some the world’s largest Oil and Gas production facilities. His work experience includes onshore and offshore, working on production platforms, refineries, gas/LNG plants, cross-country/subsea pipelines and gas fired power plants. Muhammed has worked in multi-cultural environments in Africa, United Kingdom and the Middle East. He rose to become a Project Manager in charge of maintenance program on a Multi-billion dollar Liquefied Natural Gas plant in the Middle East handling over 12 bcf (billion standard cubic feet) of sour natural gas per day, which won several international maintenance and reliability awards. Muhammed is a chartered member of the United Kingdom Institute of Material, Minerals and mining, and was a board member of the Energy institute Aberdeen highland and Islands, United Kingdom. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen United Kingdom.

Dr. G.O.Evbuoma (Member)

Dr. Gabriel O. Evbuoma, a seasoned agro-vet consultant attended the University of Ibadan, obtaining a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1984. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Agricultural Policy and Administration (MAPA) in 2004. During his National Youth Service at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, he established the Veterinary Clinic and was instrumental to the appointment of Veterinary doctors and agriculturists into the Ministry of Defence. Later, he joined the National Livestock Projects Department, where he worked as a Fields Officer in different parts of the country and was majorly involved in the execution and implementation of the Second National Livestock project. Since the past 30 years, he has been involved in agricultural credit, monitoring, evaluation and recovery. As a consultant, he has been involved in various agricultural projects owned by diverse interest groups such as government institutions, companies and individuals. He once served as consultant to the Federal Government on Fadama II Project.

Dr. Solomon O. Inikori (Member)

Solomon is U.S. based petroleum engineer with wide experience in the international oil industry. Over the past 26 years he had been engaged across the Shell group in over 13 countries and some fifteen plus business units on numerous assignments including the auditing of reserves estimation, classification, reporting and assurance (ECRA) processesg the auditing of reserves . Between 2010 and 2014 , he was Project Team Leader – Nigeria Deepwater Support, Shell Project and Technology, Houston, Texas where he lead a team of fifteen subsurface and Wells professionals from G&G, Reservoir Engineers, Petrophysicist, Production Technologist and Technical Assistant in the development of Bonga SW (415bln) to VAR3/DG3 in 2011/2012, Erha North Phase 3 - $4bln (ExxonMobil Operated Deepwater Asset) to VAR4/FID in 2014 and Bosi Integrated Oil and Gas developments (ExxonMobil Operated NOV) on behalf of Shell. He attended the Universities of Nigeria, Nsukka and Benin where he obtained a BSc and an MSc degrees respectively in Engineering. He also holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering of the Louisiana State University. Solomon also served as Subsurface Coordinator & Lead Reservoir Engineer – Canada Sable Island (Offshore Nova Scotia) Gas Development Team, Houston, Texas in 2009/ 2010 and Bonga Development Team, Houston, Texas (2007 –2009), overseeing some twenty-two brilliant technical professionals from G&G, Reservoir Engineers and Production Technologists in the development of two major deep-water oil and gas tie-back fields offshore, Nigeria – Bonga Northwest Expansion (670b10 and 670b12b – some 50 mmstb SFR; and Bonga North to VAR3 – some 400 mmstb SFR). Prior to this position , he was Lead Reservoir Engineer, Bonga Development Team, Houston, Texas – January 2007 – August 2007, leading a team of ten reservoir engineers in the development of three deep-water projects with CAPEX over $15bln. He attended the Universities of Nigeria, Nsukka and Benin where he obtained a BSc and an MSc degrees respectively in Engineering. He also holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering of the Louisiana State University. Solomon is a member of many professional bodies including the Society of Petroleum Engineers; the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International – Petroleum Division; Pi Epsilon Tau, (a petroleum engineering honors society), and Louisiana Engineer-In-Training (EIT). He’s a recipient of several academic and professional awards among which are LSU 2002 College of Engineering Exemplary Dissertation Award; Best Student, PhD Qualifying Examination at LSU Petroleum Engineering Department 2000, America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals 2003/2004, Outstanding Technical Editor SPE Reservoir Engineering Journal 2004/2008; and etc. He’s currently the Technical Editor SPE Reservoir Engineering Journal. Technical Editor of Elsevier Journal of Petroleum Science.
